A landmark of Winchester, the Museumof the Shenandoah Valley proves that you don’t have to go into DC for galleries, exhibitions, and gardens. At the MSV, you have options: you can wander around the historical Glen Burnie House (ca. 1735) that’s perfectly situated on six acres of formal gardens, check out their cultured collections of art situated in a maze of galleries, or attend the month’s exclusive exhibitions. The MSV is both opulent and enticing, no matter the season, and should be on everyone’s bucket list to visit at least once. From February 11th – May 14th, they will be featuring the well-known Alex Ross Superheroes and Superstars exhibition, famous for artworks that crossover battles between popular characters from comic books and film.

From museums to plays, to dance classes and prime hang out spots, set aside time this winter to take that special someone out and experience everything the Shenandoah Valley has to offer!
