Something Special for Mom

“When you join Capon Springs for their Open House on May 12th, be sure to bring mom along — she eats for free!  Lunch and dinner meals are all you can eat and include Capon’s Hilltop highland grass fed beef!  Lunch entrée is spaghetti served in the dining room, while dinner features Chef Ken’s Kabobs up at Sunset lodge on the golf course.  Both meals come complete with fixings and dessert.  Register here.”  — Jonathan Bellingham, 3rd generation host at Capon Springs and Farms

A Rejuvenating Getaway

Capon Springs Spa

You’ll find no shortage of relaxing things to do at Capon Springs thanks to their spa. Named after the Greek goddess known for good health and fueled by West Virginia’s healing mineral waters, the Hygeia Bath House and Spa offers soothing massages, facials, and reflexology sessions. Pamper yourself in their Roman-style soaking baths, or reserve your very own swimspa pool. The choices are endless. Make sure to call ahead to reserve a session. 304-874-3004

Only on Open House day can you sample the spa services and enjoy 25% off of bodywork treatments. It goes without saying that this is a great deal to take advantage of that every mother would love. Again, make sure to reserve ahead of time!

Adventure for Every Member of the Family

Equipped with activities, golf, lodging, and mineral spring water bath houses and spa, Capon Springs is your one-stop-shop to fun in wild, wonderful West Virginia. When you come on May 12th, you’ll enjoy experiencing most if not all of these activities at a special price!

We have two very distinct nine hole golf courses for your enjoyment: a regulation and a short par three.  The well groomed layout features tree lined fairways, alternative tees on your second round and no water hazards.

Try their two fishing ponds which contain a variety of blue-gill, bass, catfish, trout and a few giant carp. Capon supplies bamboo fishing poles and bait. Decide whether to throw your fish back or, if it is over 8 inches, have your catch cooked for your breakfast by the Capon cooks! No license required! Private offsite fishing expeditions are also available!

Tennis and Pickleball

Try a game on the clay court or one of two hard-surface courts that have lights for night play. The upper all weather court is also set up for pickleball play. During the busy summer months, in order to reserve a court, you must sign up on the sheet located across from the drinking fountain in the Main Building.

Explore any of Capon’s six different trails for various ages and abilities. Gorgeous overlooks and peaceful woodland strolls provide a true West Virginia wild and wonderful experience. Guided nature walks are offered many Saturdays.
