 Apple Blossom Festival – Winchester, VA

 It’s one of the biggest festivals in our area: the Apple Blossom Festival dates for this year are April 28 – May 7. Steeped in tradition, the Festival first began in 1924 as a one-day event to celebrate the oncoming spring, and also as a way to commemorate the Winchester area and its hardworking people. Today, it’s a six-day celebration with a soaring amount of events ranging from wine & beer, music, parades, athletic events, and dance parties. Shenandoah Valley Music Festival – Orkney Springs, VA

Shenandoah Valley Music Festival is an annual music festival held in Orkney Springs. www.Virginia.org

Hosted at Shrine Mont Conference Center in Orkney Springs, VA, the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival has been around for more than 50 years. With a healthy selection of music genres ranging from bluegrass to Americana to classical, this festival is suited for all ages and supports and encourages fans “to make concert-going a lasting part of their lives.” With a history of excellent line-ups year after year, this year’s will be sure to top last’s.  Appaloosa Roots Music Festival – Front Royal, VA

Bookmark this September 1-3 as an important date! The Appaloosa Roots Music Festival will be hosted in Front Royal, VA again this year, with a 40+ band line-up! Hosted by Scythian, the festival is able to boast a prime location, being both a few minutes from the Shenandoah Valley Wine Trail, Skyline Drive, and only an hour outside of D.C. Alongside experiencing the music, this festival offers on-site camping, with the options to hike, canoe, fish, and bike in the immediate vicinity.


 Circa Blue Fest – Martinsburg, WV

 Hosted by Circa Blue at the Berkeley County Fair Grounds, the Circa Blue Fest offers some of the best live performances from local bluegrass bands like Seldom Scene, Jim Hurst Trio, Chris Jones and the Night Drivers, and many more. Both family and pet friendly, Circa Blue Fest allows for unlimited Tent and RV Camping options. The event is held rain or shine, and children under 12 get in for free, so bring the whole family for a great outdoor music experience!


Shepherdstown Street Fest – Shepherdstown, WV 

For one day this summer (June 24th), Shepherdstown will turn into a modern day renaissance of music, food, drinks, and local artisans! The Shepherdstown Street Fest is held on the two blocks of German Street on either side of town’s main intersection, hosting bands like Speakeasy Boys, Ginada Pinata, Megan Jean and the KFB, and many more. Artisans and vendors sell anything from jewelry and pottery, to fresh cut flowers and local art. There is enough here to entertain the entire family while enjoying and exploring the unique little college town and all of the amenities is has to offer.
