We’re nearing June, and for many people that means preparing for the Shepherdstown Street Fest! Come unwind and listen to great music as you peruse through over 70 vendors situated throughout Shepherdstown’s charmingly historic streets. The best part? FREE admission, parking, and shuttle services means there’s absolutely no reason for you not to go!

This year’s charities and Fest-goers have played a huge role in the June 24th event, which earlier on was lacking a main sponsor. The community made the decision that to not have the Fest this year would be a tragedy, and came together as one to sponsor the event! Among the plethora of booths that will be lining the streets full of artisan crafted jewelry, woodworks, and much more, you’ll be able to locate the charity vendors! This year’s proceeds go to charity associations PIGS Sanctuary and Shenandoah Women’s Center.

“We would like to thank all of the many volunteers and sponsors who make this, and past festivals, possible. We would especially like to thank the Corporation of Shepherdstown, the Shepherdstown Business Association and the Shepherdstown Police Department for their invaluable help.” –SSF

One of the best parts about the Shepherdstown Street Fest is that it is entirely centered on being fun for everyone. This means there’s something for mom, dad, grandma and grandpa, and even the kids! Among the healthy selection of vendors to explore, live bands to listen to, and scenic buildings to take in, the Street Fest made sure to incorporate a Kids Camp as well! The camp is sponsored by The Light of the Child Montessori School and ensures that your child will be engaged in fun activities, giving you time to explore the town!

A staple for any ‘Fest’, the music is something most look forward to and this year’s line-up does not disappoint! The Shepherdstown Street Fest is set up to accommodate two separate stages, which means more awesome music for the audience! On the Library Stage we have Plank Stompers, Speakeasy Boys, A.Y.U., and the Young Artist Series. On the main stage will be Noon Ginata Pinata, Patent Pending, Megan Jean and the KFB, Zakke, and Black Masala. Both stages will be generating great sounding stuff throughout the entirety of the fest, so it’ll be impossible to miss.

When going through the list, we can check off tons of possible requirements fest-goers might have: free event and free parking, great live outdoor bands, hand-crafted artisan vendors, food and beer, and great fun for the whole family (including pets). We’ll see you there!
