fall farm fun

October is a great month for family fun. The hot temperatures of summer are gone. Leaves are changing their colors making it a great time to go hiking. Here in Virginia, there is apple picking, corn mazes, and pumpkin carvings leading up to Halloween with lots of festivals for all age groups.

With the chaotic rainstorms, everyone’s probably had more than a little dose of cabin fever thrust upon them. For families with young children, being stuck indoors can be a big undertaking. While some kids are perfectly fine indoors building a puzzle or playing a video game, others have tons of energy and are bouncing off the walls, looking for a fun activity to do!
