Can you believe it? The year is quickly coming to an end… We hope you’ve had an absolutely wonderful 2016, and that you’re as excited as we are to see what 2017 will bring! Have you been trying to figure out what you’re going to do on New Year’s Eve? Don’t want to sit at home with the kids like you did last year? We have some fantastic suggestions of places to go and things to do with your adult friends, so get yourself a nice new outfit and call the babysitter!

Plus, those at the second seating will have an included toast of champagne as well as the opportunity to dance the night away at the new bar and lounge! Looking for a party (the kind without kids)? Massanutten Resort is hosting their Live at the Lodge New Year’s Eve Party that you will love! It all starts at 9:00 pm at the Encounters Lounge, and you must have a valid ID with you to get in (yup, only 21+).  The party lasts until 1:30 am, and for the $25 cover charge, you will get party favors, a champagne toast at midnight, and a continental breakfast. Have some drinks, dance to the live music, and ring in the new year!

If you’re in the Shepherdstown, West Virginia area, you should go to the New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance at the Bavarian Inn! This is going to be an amazing, upscale event that you will love! For just Image of friends having fun together at a party$95 per person, your ticket will include the gourmet dinner buffet at 9 pm, dancing to the live band, champagne toast and party favors and the breakfast buffet at 1:00 am.  It includes tax and gratuity. If you’d like to extend your stay, you are welcome to take advantage of the Dinner & Dance Room packages which require a two-night minimum. This Dinner & Dance Package for two includes everything you can get when purchasing one ticket, as well as the two nights’ stay!  The dress code is black tie optional, but jackets are required. Another incredible dinner venue is the Hillbrook Inn and Spa in West Virginia. Join Chris and Carissa for a wonderful New Year’s Eve Celebration! It starts at 8:00 pm, and it is $95 per person plus tax and gratuity.  Reservations are required, and it is Prix Fixe dining.  Chef Justin Meyer is preparing a five-course meal that is centered around local, organic, and seasonal cuisine. On New Year’s Day, the L’Auberge is hosting a delicious brunch! It goes from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm, new-year-eve-riverboats-archand you will be blown away at the cuisine and drinks available. Chef Steven will offer a brasserie-style 3 course menu, but there will also be farm-to-table brunch classics to enjoy.  Grab yourself a nice glass of wine, a craft beer, or even Celeste’s Best Bloody Mary!
