The 4th Mom 2 Mom Consignment semi-annual children’s consignment sale begins Friday, March 22 at the Sportsplex in Winchester.
Moms (and a few dads!) will be selling their gently-used children’s items, including clothes, toys, gear, furniture, books, etc., and even some adult clothes!
“We love doing the sale. We will have about 150 moms selling their items at this sale, and expect over 1500 to shop. The moms that sell get to clean out their closets and make some extra cash on items that their family no longer needs, and moms shopping have an opportunity to buy items that their children need now at a fraction of the cost,” says Ashley Woods, co-owner of Mom 2 Mom Consignment.
Moms from all around the Winchester area will soon be browsing clothes racks, toys, books, furniture, and more, searching for great deals for their family.
“I love the good deals. Kids out grow everything so fast that I refuse to pay full price. I know that what I do spend goes to a mom who’s going to use it to buy her kid(s) what he or she may need now,” says Jessica Hurdle, Mom 2 Mom Consignment shopper.
“The clothes are name brand, in great shape, and very affordable for those of us on a tight budget,” notes shopper Jennifer Rude.
“We have thousands of items of clothing. Sizes start at newborn, and go all the way up through teen/adult sizes, including maternity clothes. We also sell tons of shoes, from infant to teen/adult. We have furniture, cribs, and strollers as well. We have pack and plays, swings, car seats; anything you might need to start fresh with a new baby, or raise your kids up through high school,” says Stasia Wright, co-owner of Mom 2 Mom Consignment.
If you are a new mom looking to fill a dresser for a new baby and find toys and gear, or a more seasoned mom looking to find trendy clothes for your teenager, this is the place to be. A high quality consignment sale can be a great kids shopping experience.
“It’s great to know that things that my daughters have outgrown are going to have a new home, and hopefully be passed on from there. We feel like it’s the ‘green’ thing to do,” says Wright.
Consignors are allowed to pick up their unsold items at the end of the sale to do with as they want. For the items left behind, they are put to a good home! Mom 2 Mom Consignment donates unsold and left behind items to CCAP and ABBA Care, Inc., helping local families in need.
“This is my first consignment, but I love the fact that I can sell my boys things, and if it’s not something we want back, it will be donated! It’s like cleaning house while making money, and it doesn’t have to be packed away again. Yippee I am excited!,” says April Fitzgerald, first time consignor with Mom 2 Mom Consignment.
The fall sale will be open to the public Friday, March 22 through Sunday, March 24.
Hours are: Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday 10am-2pm.
There is a $2 admission charge Friday from 9am-Noon. All other times there is no admission charge. Many items on Sunday will be available at 50% off. For more information, please visit www.mom2momconsignment.com
