When we first started our Root to Table culinary series, we knew that success wouldn’t come overnight. To achieve Taste of Blue Ridge’s mission of connecting consumers to the owners, chefs, and farmers of the Blue Ridge, we’d need a friendly, helping hand that believed in our mission just as much as we did. We’re so proud to showcase our generous sponsor, Schenck Foods, of which without their support, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

Schenck Foods historical photoFor over 90 years, Schenck Foods Co. has made it their mission to not only deliver the highest quality products, but to also provide excellent service to their customers.  Schenck’s is a wholesale distributor to a plethora of restaurants, businesses, and customers on the east coast.  Schenck Foods knows that the way to the community’s heart is through their local businesses and farmers, of which are vitally important to Northern Virginia’s agricultural and food scene. Schenck Foods is proud to work with each farmer, owner, and customer, big or small, on a personal level to ensure quality products and services.

“As the fourth generation of the Schenck / Huntsberry family to lead the company, I am humbled by the challenge and opportunity to grow, innovate, and continue to serve Winchester and the surrounding communities.

We promise to always offer top quality diverse products and services at competitive prices.

With your support and patronage, we will continue to be the top supplier for restaurants, businesses, and everyday people for the next 90 years!

On behalf of my family, and the greater Schenck Foods family, I welcome you.”           — Jason Huntsberry, President & CEO
Schenck Foods Owners

If you’ve never been to Schenck Foods Co., prepare to be amazed.

Schenck Foods is a rare breed. With the capacity to supply large and small businesses alike, they also have a selection for the average consumer who’s looking for locally sourced products. With the holidays coming up and everyone cooking in bulk, Schenck Foods is your best bet if you’re looking to cook a little more consciously this year. It’s their commitment to Shenandoah Valley farmers and producers that sets them apart from places like Costco and Walmart, as well as their ability to supply the amount you need for your dinner, event, or everyday business consumption while staying true to that commitment. Make sure to check out the convenient services they offer as well!
