Annual Historic Garden Week: Middleburg and Upperville

Sun 1-5pm, Mon 10am-5pm

" Historic Garden Week provides visitors a unique opportunity to see unforgettable gardens at the peak of Virginia's springtime color, as well as beautiful houses sparkling with fabulous flower arrangements.

As far back as the early 1900s Middleburg earned a reputation as a town for foxhunting and steeple chasing. Situated eight miles to the west is Upperville, a designated Historic District, and home to numerous country estates. This tour invites visitors into the beautifully appointed interiors and private gardens of some of the area’s finest homes. Offering views of the Piedmont landscape are back-to-back tour days of four homes: Oawood, Edgewood, Poke, and Woodslane Farm.

This tour takes visitors deep into very scenic countryside, but our beautiful country roads are narrow in places. For the safety and convenience of all, please follow the tour route as designated by the Garden Club. We regret that no motor coaches or buses can be accommodated. Groups may wish to attend in several small, family-sized vehicles.

Tour proceeds fund the restoration and preservation of Virginia's historic gardens. Boxed lunches are available by reservation for Monday’s tour only. For more information about Advance Ticket Sales or to make lunch reservations, contact Daphne Cheatham at dwcheatham@aol.
