Use this new year to start some new traditions together! If you and your special someone are trying to think of the best Valentine’s Day plans but aren’t sure about all of your options, let us help! Our partners are hosting some incredible dinners that feature delectable menus in romantic atmospheres.

Bavarian Inn Valentine's DayLocated in the small, historic town of Shepherdstown, the Bavarian Inn offers delicious dining options with a European flair. Choose between the main dining room, the Rathskeller downstairs, or the patio (if it turns out to be another 60 degree February like last year). The Bavarian doesn’t own any one particular style of cooking or specialty – everything is so delicious – but their menu does come with a heavy German theme. The atmosphere and unique location overlooking the Potomac is a definite win for anyone planning something special for Valentine’s Day, just make sure to get your reservations in early as this will be a highly sought-after venue for the holiday.

Hillbrook Inn Valentine's Day

Another beautiful, unique location is the Hillbrook Inn & Spa in Charles Town, West Virginia. Their Romantic Valentine’s Dinner will be served February 14th through the 17th, so if the Valentine’s Day crowd is too much for you, you have plenty of other times to book your reservation.  Enjoy a savory five-course dinner complete with braised lamb, filet mignon, and lobster, and even add on an overnight stay in one of their charming, elegant rooms. This secluded retreat was practically made for Valentine’s Day, so you really can’t go wrong if you book at Hillbrook.

Lansdowne Resort Valentine's Day

Looking for a place with options outside of the standard dinner realm? Then Lansdowne Resort is what you want for Valentine’s Day. Aside from the wonderful dining experience you can have at Coton & Rye, Lansdowne is offering cooking classes and painting classes themed around the month of love. Enjoy something delicious off the menu, learn to make truffles with your sweetie, or enjoy Galentine’s Day with the girls at a painting class! Check out their event calendar and book early!

The George Washington Hotel Valentine's Day

Another gem, located in the center of Old Town Winchester is The George Washington Hotel, inviting you to celebrate Valentine’s Day with options like spa visits and an exclusive Valentine’s menu at George’s Food and Spirits! Starting Thursday, February 14th and ending on the following Saturday, you can enjoy a delicious menu put together by Chef Marvin complete with items like scallops, oysters and shrimp. Want to up the stakes this holiday? Gift yourSO a soothing Saumaj spa experience! Both of these sound like a wonderful gift for that special someone this year.

If you’re going to be in the Purcellville area, you should spend your evening at Magnolia’s at the Mill! Depending on your choice of entrée, their three-course Valentine’s Day meal will be $60-75. The set menu and its choices can be found here on their website. If you’ve never been to Magnolia’s before, this should be your Valentine’s destination! The atmosphere is elegant and upscale, yet warm and cozy. Reserve a table by the fireplace before it’s too late!
