Use this new year to start some new traditions together! If you and your special someone are trying to think of the best Valentine’s Day plans but aren’t sure about all of your options, let us help! Our partners are hosting some incredible dinners that feature delectable menus and romantic atmospheres.

La Table Provencale already has the night planned, and you have several menu options to choose from. The most appropriate, of course, is their “Lovers Tasting Menu” ($135).  Other options include the four course ($88) and five course ($98) pre-fixed menus. Dinner runs from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and you can make your reservations right now by calling (540) 837 – 1375. If you can’t make it out on that Tuesday evening, La Table Provencale will be serving the menu both the weekend before and after the holiday, and you can even make a weekend of it by booking a few nights at L’Auberge!

Their Romantic Valentine’s Dinner will be served February 10th through the 19th, so if the Valentine’s Day crowd is too much for you, you have plenty of other times to book your reservation.  You can choose between either the four course meal or the five course meal, both of which can be previewed on their website. And get this – on Valentine’s Day, they are including complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides on a first come, first serve basis. Now that is romantic.

In the heart of wonderful Old Town Winchester is One Block West. This year, they are serving a price-fixed menu on Valentine’s Day, and we think you’ll love it. One Block West is a magnificent restaurant that guarantees a great experience every time. The ingredients are fresh, the entrees are complex, and you can try something new every time you’re there. To name just a few select items off of their set menu (which is just a draft, and is subject to slight changes): Gorgonzola and Onion Jam Tart, Poached White Fish, and Strawberry Tiramisu! Dinner costs $65 per person, not including beverages, taxes, or gratuity. You can call (540) 662-1455 to book your reservation right now.

Another gem in the center of Old Town Winchester is The George Washington Hotel, inviting you to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the Grand Ballroom this year! On Saturday, February 11th, do something different and enjoy a “Supper Club” style evening with your better half. The doors will open at 7:00 pm, with the dinner and acoustic set following at 7:30, and then the Variety Show and dancing from 9:00-11:00 pm. This extravagantly fun event is only $95 per ticket, and yes, there will be a cash bar available. The dinner will be four courses: appetizer, salad, entrée, and dessert. Entertainment will be provided by Terry Oates & The Mudcats, and tickets can be purchased by calling (540) 771-2743.

If you’re going to be in the Purcellville area, you should spend your evening at Magnolia’s at the Mill! Depending on your choice of entrée, the three-course meal will be $60-70. The set menu and its choices can be found here on their website. If you’ve never been to Magnolia’s before, this should be your Valentine’s destination! The atmosphere is elegant and upscale, yet warm and cozy.
