Most know the tale of Babe, the pig who desperately wants to become a sheepdog. Now you have the chance to experience this heartwarming film all over again at the Alamo this Saturday – this time with actual sheepdogs present! Make sure you and your family are there at 11:00am this Saturday the 15th for a rare chance to mingle with adorable dogs and then watch an adorable pig on the big screen!

Babe the pig holds a clock while sitting next to a duck. Farmer Arthur Hoggett is a gentle man with high values who goes on to win a piglet at the county fair. This piglet has time to bond with the rest of the farm animals until Christmas rolls around, where he narrowly escapes being Christmas dinner! Farmer Hoggett realizes that Babe has an unusual talent: he’s able to herd sheep like a dog! Will Babe be able to bend the rules and repurpose a pig’s life beyond bacon? You’ll have to watch to find out! Babe is an excellent source for teaching the life lesson that no matter who you are, you can do anything you set your mind to!

We will see you there on Saturday to celebrate this fun, family classic with the Super 8 Family Film Club!
