Chef Steve Ferrell, a semi-new addition to the Inn’s Redbook Restaurant kitchen, is quoted saying, “I am a hard working individual with a strong sense of pride in food that I create and in the kitchen teams I have developed. I respect classic techniques and fundamentals but believe in always pushing the envelope by challenging myself to improve.”If you break down to the very essence what he’s saying – he knows what he’s doing in the kitchen and you’ll never be disappointed by what’s on your plate if it’s his hands that prepared it. With years and years of culinary experience, prepare to taste a meal like no other prepped by Ferrell. The Redbook Restaurant’s doors are always open for anyone wanting to mix luxury dining with an at-home feel.

Finish off the night at the Hillbrook Inn, extending your stay well into the weekend. Included in the deal is a welcome drink, 20% off room rate, and a $25 dining credit for Saturday dinner at the Redbook Restaurant. Lastly, you’ll want to make sure you set aside time to pamper yourself, as a $25 spa credit is also included. You can read more and book here.

Charissa Zanella, owner of the Inn, explains their part in all of this: “Hillbrook Inn is involved with Taste of Blue Ridge because we are devoted to promoting a quality food product. By combining our efforts for promoting local resourcing with other chefs and farmers in the area, we can have a larger national voice for the northern Virginia – West Virginia region.” With a backing like this, our foodie campaigns are sure to reach numbers into the thousands, spreading the love of culinary cuisine to all within the community.

In addition to their weekend packages, the Hillbrook Inn is sponsoring a brand new elopement contest running now until April of 2018. If you’re a couple in love and looking to tie the knot, this is the perfect opportunity to share your “storybook” love story for a chance to win a free elopement at Hillbrook Inn. This exciting contest is even making sure to award the couples who don’t win, because all love stories are great love stories in Hillbrook’s book.

We hope to see you at Magnolias, and hope that you’ll take advantage of all the sweet deals set up as a part of our Root to Table campaign. Grab your tickets here!
