Because the theater has deep roots in Winchester, Alamo donates all camp ticket sales to local nonprofits. This season’s proceeds will go to Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum and Grafton Integrated Health Network.

Summer Fun Movie Lineup

Smallfoot: Kicking off Kid’s Camp through May 30 is Smallfoot. If Bigfoot is out there, then maybe the Yetis (or abominable snowfolks) believe humans are mythical creatures too. Yeti Mido sets off on a quest with a group of “Smallfootologists” to prove they are real.

The Star: Running May 31-June 6, The Star centers around a donkey named Bo. Because he dreams of bigger things, Bo and some unforgettable animal pals follow “the Star” and become unlikely heroes of the first Christmas.

Trolls: Playing June 7-13, head to the candy colorful land of Trolls. The whole family will want to sing and dance – and maybe try a new hairdo.

Enjoy a Children’s Favorite

Shrek: Who doesn’t love this modern kid’s classic? Showing June 14-20, this one flips the script on fairytales.

The Lorax: This Dr. Seuss classic, playing June 21-27, is a wonderful movie for introducing children to the importance of conservation.

Paddington Bear 2: This beloved children’s literature character takes to the big screen June 28-July 4 for more exciting adventures.

Madagascar: Lions, hippos and giraffes – oh my! Enjoy the gang’s escapades July 5-11 when they break out of the zoo and head to Africa.

Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation: Join Count Dracula and family July 12-18 when they take a cruise and discover a secret that can threaten monsters everywhere.

Kung Fu Panda: This funny fable, running July 19-25, shows the importance of fulfilling your dreams and even exceeding your expectations.

The Grinch: Celebrate Christmas in July with another Dr. Seuss favorite playing July 26-August 1.

The Lego Movie: If your kids love the little square guys then they’ll get a kick watching them come to life and spring into action August 2-8.

Minions: Alamo wraps up Kids Camp with this family favorite August 9-15. Long live King Bob!
