July 19: The Drifters, The Platters and Cornell Gunter’s Coasters: Three musical Hall of Rock ‘n’ Roll Fame acts on one bill. The lineups may change but the classic songs remain the same.
July 20: One Giant Leap – “The Planets” and Beyond, featuring the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra: Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s moon walk. NASA space footage and Mother Nature’s skies provide the backdrop.
July 26: The Beach Boys: Led by founding member Mike Love, they’re still going surfin’ after over 50 years. Come relive the hits.
July 27: PSO Rocks!: What do you get when you combine rock ‘n’ roll, symphony orchestra and Woodstock’s 50th anniversary? Come hear renditions of songs made famous by the 1969 concert.

In August the 2019 Shenandoah Valley Music Festival offers a calendar of top country, bluegrass and folk performers.
August 9: The Oak Ridge Boys: This Grand Ole Opry/Country Music Hall of Fame vocal quartet is one of America’s favorite acts. Enjoy their classic hits – you know you want to sing along to Elvira!
August 10: Home Free and Jeffrey East: After winning the fourth season of NBC’s The Sing Off, this five member group became an a cappella country music sensation. Nashville singer/songwriter Jeffrey East warms up the crowd.
August 31: An Evening with Judy Collins: With 50 albums and five decades, this prolific singer/songwriter still has the pipes. Her timeless talent entertains a multi-generational fan base.
September 1: Hot Strings & Cool Breezes Minifest: And finally, SVMF closes out with The Travelin’ McCourys, along with Sierra Hull & Justin Moses, and The Becky Buller Band. The Travelin’ McCourys won the 2019 Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album.

Shenandoah Valley Music Festival is located in the pavilion at Shrine Mont at the foot of Great North Mountain in Orkey Springs, Va. Choose from pavilion or lawn seating at this family-friendly music festival. After the concert, extend your visit with an overnight stay at Shrine Mont. Kids in tow?
